Enhanced task notifications to keep your team in the loop

Stay more connected with your team than ever. We’ve introduced an additional notification type so that whenever a task is marked as complete, the person who created it - and any other assignees - automatically get a heads-up.

Why you'll love it:

  • Keep everyone in the loop – No more wondering if a task has been wrapped up.
  • Streamline collaboration – Enjoy faster follow-ups and reduced back-and-forth.
  • Maintain a clear overview – Track exactly which tasks are moving forward in real time.

What are tasks, again?

In Kinabase, Tasks help you organize to-dos and assignments directly tied to your records - whether it’s a client, project, or sales opportunity. By linking tasks to specific records, you avoid the hassle of sifting through emails and team chats to find the right context.

How to use the new notifications:

  1. Create a Task: Create a task and add details as you normally would. For more information, check out our support guide.
  2. Assign Colleagues: Share responsibility by assigning one or multiple team members.
  3. That's it!: Once someone marks the task as complete, the creator and any other assignees will receive a notification with the original task details.

Note: The completion notification is sent only if at least one assignee differs from the task’s creator, or if multiple people are assigned.

You can tailor which alerts you receive in your Notifications settings. With these enhanced task notifications, your team will never miss a completed task again. Jump in today and experience a more efficient, AI-powered workflow in Kinabase!
