Add an activity
To allow you to keep track of what's happening against any record, we've added activities to Kinabase, so you can record notes, emails, phone-calls and meetings. This helps you and your colleagues use Kinabase everyday to get things done, and stay organised.
Having all of the information you need against a record in one place can make life so much easier. The new activity timeline gives you a convenient and accessible place to find out what's happened, and log what the latest updates are. This means you can record information to Kinabase whenever and wherever you are and it's visible for everyone in your Kinabase team.
The timeline shows what's happening in chronological order - covering all types of activities against the record. Changes to records are automatically recorded in the timeline so that you've got full visibility of which changes were made, what they were, and by whom.
Kinabase also lets you configure custom activity types, so you can keep a log of everything from proposal signatures and site visits, to software deployments and risk assessments.
You can activate activities for any of your collections from the options menu, and configure what types are enabled. As this feature can simply be turned on or off again, you can decide which of your collections might benefit from this tool.
