Feature Update|16 Jan 2024
Organise your files with the new SharePoint integration
Kinabase now has the capability to integrate with SharePoint, making it possible to link and store files from across the two platforms. From SharePoint, you will have access to your Kinabase files in bulk and will be able to edit them online without downloading and re-uploading them. In SharePoint, your folder structure will match your Kinabase collections and records structure, and will be updated automatically with any new file uploads from either app.
This allows you to store and manage your files in the way that works best for your organisation, and keep your data in one place under your existing IT security policies.
In Kinabase you can also easily upload SharePoint files through the new drag and drop feature. You can also create a Word document or Excel sheet in a Kinabase record, which will be saved automatically to SharePoint.
No matter if you upload to Kinabase or SharePoint, your files will now link automatically in both locations.
How is this feature helpful to organisations?
- Manage complicated files structures for project documentation, proposals, contracts, and more
- Optimise cross-functional collaboration by sharing files across your organisation with the teams and individuals who need them
- Organise your internal file data by ensuring new file uploads are always findable and linked to the right place in both Kinabase and SharePoint
