To boost your team’s efficiency when creating new records, we've added the Duplicate feature. This means you can add a new record faster, pre-populating it with existing data that you can then modify as needed.

Duplicating records is useful for teams or individuals who are often entering similar information as they create new records, such as travel expenses to the same client. Maybe you're managing projects with the same client, creating multiple batches for production, logging similar types of expenses, or building a sales pipeline filled with companies in the same industry with similar characteristics. Entering the same data values repeatedly can get tedious, fast.

The ability to quickly duplicate records eliminates this manual work by leveraging existing data to create records with very similar values, or even exact copies.

Here's how it works:

• Right click on any record where you have been given add/edit permissions by your admin.
• Click on the "Duplicate" option in the pop-up menu.
• A record will appear with all the information from the record you right clicked on. Now you can choose which information you’d like to keep, and which information you’d like to edit.
• Then click “Add” and the new record will appear in the collection.

Please note, duplicating records only works within the same collection, not across multiple collections.
