Manage electrical measurements with new field types
We are delighted to announce the inclusion of new dedicated fields for your electrical measurements within Kinabase. These new fields will allow you to track a range of units across your business, helping to manage all your needs from energy consumption and operational efficiency to equipment safety.
These new electrical fields will ensure more convenient and accurate record keeping for your technicians and throughout all departments – enabling you to reduce costs and increase both safety and consistency within your business.
Here's how use these new fields:
- Navigate to Collection Configuration: Whilst on your collection - use the three dots in the top right of the screen.
- Select Fields: Select the Fields tab on the left of the window.
- Add New Field: Click the ‘+ Add Field’ button.
- Select Field Type: Select the appropriate electrical measurement unit from the measurements dropdown list.
- At this point you may also set Default values and Default units – including your desired ‘Order Of Magnitude’ such as milli-volts, kilo-volts and more
Pro tip: If required, you can even set upper and lower bounds by adjusting your validation settings.
Kinabase is constantly evolving and improving – striving to provide the best possible solutions for you and your team in every scenario. If there are any uncommon units of measurement that would be beneficial for your record keeping, please let us know.
