We've achieved Cyber Essentials certification

We are pleased to announce that Cambridge Kinetics has achieved Cyber Essentials certification.

The Cyber Essentials scheme is backed by the UK Government and supported by the Federation of Small Businesses and the CBI. This achievement provides assurance to our current and future clients that Cambridge Kinetics take a proactive approach to protecting information against a landscape of growing cyber threats.

Being Cyber Essentials Certified shows that we are externally certified to be continuously working to improve our IT systems, keeping them aligned with all current Data Protection Legislation across the globe and in line with current trends in IT Security.

The scheme’s five security controls include:

• Secure configuration
• Boundary firewalls and Internet Gateways
• User access control
• Patch management
• Malware protection

This achievement demonstrates our proactive approach to protecting the data we control against the increasing number of global cyber threats. The external, independent assessment adds a further layer of validation, which we achieved with flying colours thanks to the exceptional support provided by our partners at Cambridge Support.
